The candidate should have a demonstrated experience in the Joint Planning Process conducting operational analysis, identifying operational challenges and potential opportunities, and conducting operational risk assessments. A successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working on a high-level staff, supporting senior-level military personnel.
Requirements:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 year’s planning experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 7 years military experience (Active Duty or Government Civilian), experience working on classified networks and interfacing with military staffs at the operational and strategic level or similar experience.
- Experience in developing indicators such as Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs) which support accomplishment of campaign plan objectives, operational goals, desired effects, and tasks.
- Background with the Joint Strategic Planning System which might include the Chairman’s Risk Assessment; Annual Joint Assessment; Joint Military Net Assessment; Joint Force Readiness Review; Planning Programing, Budget, and Execution inputs; and Campaign/Contingency plans.
- Knowledge of quantitative techniques and methods used to develop, adapt, modify, and resolve problems or define and clarify alternative solutions.
- Demonstrated experience providing briefings, presentations, and reports to senior level military personnel.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; and maintain good working relations.
- Possess a DOD TS/SCI clearance or possess the ability to gain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE).
- Possess certification from an advanced studies group (e.g. School of Advanced Air and Space Science, School of Advanced Military Studies, School of Advanced Warfighting).
- Experience with a Combatant Command/Joint Staff Assessments process.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000
