Service Writer

Big 4 Cycle & Marine is a local powersports dealership is in search of a Service Writer to maintain the high-quality customer service our growing customer base deserves. If you are a self-starter interested in being part of a fast-paced powersports dealership look no further. We are a family-owned business. We sell new Can-Am, KYMCO, Sea Doo, and Scarab vehicles as well as used ATV's, UTV's, motorcycles, and watercraft. This position requires an individual with excellent communication skills, product knowledge, the ability to multi-task, a disciplined work ethic, and a strong enthusiasm for the powersports industry. This person must have the ability to deal with managing the daily operations of our service department. Our service write must maintain a high level of customer service and be able to communicate in person, via email, text, and through the phone.

Job duties will include:

• Assisting in maintaining appropriate parts inventory ordering
• Counter PAC sales
• Accurately entering customer information into repair orders
• Communicating with customers face-to-face, by phone, text, and email
• Assisting service department with all parts needs
• Other daily duties

Qualifications

• Must be a team player!
• Prefer two years; experience as a powersports mechanic: ATV, SSV, watercraft, motorcycles.
• Prefer two years’ experience as a motorcycle mechanic, or MMI graduate.
• Prefer two years’ experience as a service writer.
• Is knowledgeable of two and four stroke engine operation, functionality, and components.
• Is familiar with general powersports products and vehicles.
• Can demonstrate good ability to learn and operate new computer systems.
• Ability to follow established policies and procedures, as defined by management.
• Able to effectively multi-task several job functions at once.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License, and clean MVR.

Working Conditions:
Shop environment that may require kneeling, bending, climbing, twisting, and lifting heavy objects.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
May be required to work more than 40 hours.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, pull, or push at least 50 pounds.
Routinely kneel-down and bend-over powersports vehicles.
Ability to safely operate powersports vehicles
