Sr HR Rep
The Salaried and Exempt Pay Range for this position (paid biweekly) is $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 annually depending on experience.
We are looking for a Sr. HR Rep with emphasis on Benefits, Payroll Administration and HRIS for our TABS Toner Products Division located in Mitchell, South Dakota. This position may be either on-site or remote (within the state of South Dakota) depending on the location of the person hired.
Job Summary:
The Sr. HR Rep position will be responsible for the areas of HRIS, Benefits Programs, Payroll Administration and Compliance activities in areas such as:
- Working with third party vendors to deliver and administer Payroll, Health & Welfare benefits and HRIS.
- Planning and processing payroll ensuring effective and efficient payroll operation and processing to meet and maintain legislative compliance in a secure environment.
- Partnering with Division Management, Finance, Legal, and vendors to perform all aspects of benefit program management, including ensuring accuracy of benefit deductions, and streamlining processes and procedures to ensure proper data flow effectively and efficiently to relevant parties. Support annual benefits open enrollment planning and execution.
- Create and generate reports from HRIS system for departmental use, EEO and Affirmative Action, and any Local, State or Federal regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience. A minimum of five years of increasingly responsible HR experience in a combination of the following areas HR Administration, Benefits Programs & Administration (Health & Welfare, Disability & Leaves) and Payroll Administration.
Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local legislation and regulatory requirements (Civil Rights Act, Title VII, ADA, FLSA, ERISA, etc.)
- Must be comfortable with auditing and report creation.
- Thorough understanding of HR practices, principles, and current HR trends.
- Must have knowledge and ability to research updates impacting benefits and leaves of absence, this includes experience with COBRA, HIPAA, PPACA, and ACA.
- Working knowledge of wage and hour laws and regulations preparing and processing payroll and time keeping systems.
- Must have working knowledge of vendor management (performance and relationship building) and administering benefits systems and related platforms.
- May travel occasionally.
