A Day In The Life of a Starter Generator Shop Supervisor
We are looking for a seasoned Starter Generator Shop Supervisor to assign, assist, and oversee our shop work as well as our technicians.
Candidate qualifications must include extensive experience in the maintenance, repair and Overhaul of starter generators and a successful track record in managing a shop.
This is a shop management position, candidate must have proven successful experience in managing a starter generator shop to include workflow, processes, personnel and technical details.
Essential Duties of The Starter Generator Shop Supervisor
- Assign and assist in the starter generator maintenance, repair and overhaul process.
- Training / starter generator specific
- Read, understand, interpret, and follow maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, service bulletins and follow technical data to carry out tasks
- Other duties as assigned and requested within the general and technical capacity.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively mentor team members as their resident technical expert
- Detail oriented, able to stay on task, and self-motivated
- Be compliant with safety procedures and policies
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Reside in San Antonio or surrounding areas
- A&P or equivalent experience through a combination of education and experience
- Proficient with the English language to interpret and follow various technical data
