Job Summary:

The Marketing Director will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at increasing patient engagement, brand awareness, and overall practice growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in healthcare marketing and a passion for dermatology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with the overall goals of Total Dermatology
  • Set measurable objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
  • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using metrics, feedback, and reports to continuously refine strategies for better results
  • Collaborate with physicians and management to ensure marketing goals are met
  • Develop and maintain Total Dermatology’s brand identity across all channels, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual elements
  • Oversee the creation of marketing material, including brochures, newsletters, and promotional materials to enhance brand visibility
  • Oversee the creation of relevant, engaging content for Total Dermatology’s social media platforms and educational materials to promote dermatological health and services offered
  • Design and execute digital marketing campaigns utilizing search engine optimization (SEO), email marketing, and social media strategies to attract new patients
  • Manage Total Dermatology’s website, ensuring it is user-friendly, engaging, and optimized for search engines
  • Create initiatives that encourage patient referrals and retention, such as loyalty programs or special events
  • Build relationships with local businesses, healthcare providers, and community organizations to increase referrals and collaborative marketing opportunities
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective spending and a positive return on investment (ROI) for marketing initiatives
  • Control and approve the use of the company’s logo
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

Education and / or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred
  • Valid Driver License is required
  • Minimum of 5 years marketing and public relations experience is required
  • Proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns and achieving measurable targets is required
  • Medical and / or Dermatology experience preferred

Communication Skills

  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner, both verbal and written
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents pertaining to various medical, treatment, and surgical matters
  • Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to apply medical or scientific logic to situations as needed.

Physical Demands

  • The duties of this position require the employee to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time.
