Job Description
We are looking for a School BCBA in Metro Detroit. This position is full-time at 35 hours per week.
Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts work with our students, staff, behaviorists, and parents to ensure that appropriate strategies are being implemented to foster student success and desired outcomes. *Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time).
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at TES, you will:
- provide one-to-one support to the client in a Clinic and School setting.
- be responsible for developing behavioral strategies and creating a behavior plan to best meet the needs of each client.
- train, supervise, and mentor your team of behaviorists by using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- maintain detailed and accurate records, including strategies, techniques, and modifications changes to behavior plans.
- serve as the primary contact for the office, school, group home, and parents.
In addition to the responsibilities above, as a BCBA Supervisor, you will also have the following responsibilities:
- provide clinical supervision and direction to BI Supervisor and Direct Care staff, including skills enhancement, clinical consultation, and professional development.
- auditing of all direct reports’ schedules for mandated breaks and correct service minutes being implemented.
- lead staff meetings as well as develop, coordinate, and deliver staff trainings for direct reports and other team members.
- review data and reports submitted by BID Supervisors and update individualized programs to assure program reflects each client’s development and progress toward identified goals.
- provide parent education, training, and consultation.
- perform clinical supervision in the home, community or clinic setting.
- complete direct observations, Employee Evaluation, and Employee Improvement Plan for each assigned supervisor(s).
- act as the primary liaison between TES and assigned clients and represent TES in the community and at conferences.
- meet utilization rate for self and assigned team members as designated by program manager/coordinator.
- consult with program manager/coordinator regarding high profile cases and obtain support when necessary.
- participate in program and corporate events and encourage team members to attend as well.
- communicate with TES Program Coordinators as necessary.
- monitor and coordinate direct services to ensure compliance and adjust caseload as necessary for assigned behavior interventionists and supervisor(s).
- identify and suggest leadership opportunities.
- develop business/marketing opportunities within assigned role.
- conduct FBA’s as needed.
- develop programs that support the philosophy of TES.
- consult and collaborate between departments on behavior needs.
- provide consistent updates to clients and team members outlining student information and timelines.
- accept additional responsibilities as needed
You will need the following minimum qualifications to be considered:
- Masters degree in Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field.
- A valid BCBA certificate
- strong background in applying principles of ABA
- able to participate and complete mandatory Safety Care training/QBS training and be able to utilize all aspects of this training within an instructional setting when necessary and adhere to certification guidelines and restrictions
- 2 years of experience working with students with special needs and at least 1-year leadership / supervisory experience
- have daily access to a windows-based computer with: connection to the internet with Internet Explorer 6.0 (or greater), graphics card capable of displaying at least 16-bit at 800 x 600 resolution, and ability to send and receive email
- proficient in the use of modern office technology, equipment, and procedures including Microsoft Office, Adobe, basic email, internet, and be able to learn and adapt to new systems and software
- can provide reliable transportation to and from cases (including subcases when cancellations occur).
- must clear a current background check through the FBI and DOJ
- a current TB Test (within the last 6 months)
- hold appropriate automobile insurance with limits that allow driving a personal vehicle for work (25/50k liability coverage)

Environment & Physical Qualifications: Assigned work environments vary from site to site and may require services to be provided in a distance learning / therapy model. The work environment is usually comprised of several adults and children in a classroom, clinic, or campus facility with supervisors traveling to multiple sites/clinics. Due to varied work environments, an employee may encounter noise levels that are moderate to loud.
