Total Fire Protection, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department. This is a full-time in-office position, offering competitive wages and full benefits.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with recruiting and hiring efforts
- Maintain personnel records, in compliance with HR regulations
- Compile reports from personnel databases
- Review and update HR information system records
- Enforce company policies, rules and regulations
- Communicate all relevant information to employees and job applicants
- Assist with the implementation of a new HRIS (Arcoro)
- Assist with coordination of company events, activities, and meetings
- Provide backup for reception
- Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding
- Assist with processing, monitoring, and maintaining documentation for FMLA requests
- Employment verifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Human Resources preferred
- General knowledge of labor and employment laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience answering multi-line phone system
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Administrative experience in the construction industry a plus
Wage/Benefits:
