What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hardware Support Technician position at TouchPros?
TouchPros provides support for hundreds of touchscreens and computers to high schools and colleges throughout the country. We are looking for a support specialist that has strong Windows hardware knowledge to help with the following tasks:
- Provision new computers for installation.
- Troubleshoot problems with touchscreens and computers in the field (as well as on the phone and with remote utilities).
- Provide input on how to improve technical processes such as knowledge base and logging procedures.
- Remotely monitor computers and make fixes.
- Work directly with owner of the company to take over all things hardware.
Requirements
- Technical experience in Windows 7, 8.1 and 10.
- 2-3 years of work in the industry.
- Highly motivated to work in a fast-paced small business.
- Excellent customer service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month
