Job Title: Talent Coordinator

OVERVIEW:
The Talent Coordinator will support the HR team by ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process to identify and secure top talent for both retail and corporate based positions. This will be done by maintaining a high level of communication, attention to detail and timeliness throughout the interview process, resulting in a best in class candidate and hiring manager experience. The Talent Coordinator will be a cross functional partner to hiring managers and the HR team, supporting all of the administrative and logistical aspects of the process from job requisition to onboarding.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a high level of communication, attention to detail and timeliness throughout the interview process to ensure a best in class candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews throughout all levels of the interview cadence, both virtually and in-person as well as assisting with travel arrangements, when required.
- Review and maintain the ATS on a daily basis.
- Updating job postings and collaborating on finalizing of job descriptions.
- Screen applications to evaluate if they meet the position requirements, determine next steps and following up with hiring managers accordingly on pending applicants.
- Update talent reporting on a real-time, weekly and monthly basis relating to candidate status, next steps, time to fill and open/closed positions.
- Conduct interviews for entry to mid-level level positions, as needed.
- Conduct reference checks.
- Submit background checks.
- Keep a pulse on recruiting trends and strategies across relevant industries.
- Build talent networks to find qualified active and passive candidates
- Plan and execute hiring events
- Follow up, when necessary with hiring manager to understand the status of interviews and help complete next steps to best support the hiring process for each candidate.
- Support HR team with onboarding documents and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years of recruitment/talent coordination experience within an agency or in-house position.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in relevant field of study.
- Ability to take direction well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Positive, out-going, friendly attitude with an approachable demeanor.
- Excellent attention to detail, follow-through and organizational skills.
- Working to proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
SALARY RANGE: $25.00-30.00 per hour commensurate upon experience.
