Job Title: Retail Coordinator and Training Assistant

Overview:
The Retail Assistant will support the SVP of Retail, performing diverse secretarial duties and administrative functions. The Retail Assistant will also manage the training programs for the retail teams, working closely with internal teams and external vendor partners. The individual will effectively handle multiple priorities and projects while adapting to procedures, processes and techniques, completing assignments in line with the department's activities and objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day calendar for the SVP of Retail, scheduling and coordinating internal and external meetings.
- Provide administrative assistance, such as expense reporting, writing and editing emails, drafting memos and preparing communications.
- Maintain excellent communication and relationships with retail leadership, retail team members, and cross-functional teams.
- Create and develop well organized and concise presentations, primarily utilizing Powerpoint.
- Oversee, coordinate and deliver training calendar for new store openings and ongoing training initiatives to the retail teams.
- Work closely with vendor partners to ensure brand trainings are successfully scheduled and implemented.
- Track and monitor training programs for retail stores nationally. Inclusive of in-house sales and operations training and vendor programs.
- Maintain and upkeep department reporting and data.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of luxury retail and/or administrative experience.
- Experience in retail training strongly desired.
- Excellent PowerPoint skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Must be a self starter with the ability work autonomously.
- Strong written and verbal commnication skills.
- Ability to interact and effectively communicate with internal teams and vendor partners at all levels.
- Exceptional time management and attention to detail.
- Fast learner and team player with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
