ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Work to improve efficiency and quality in delivering healthcare services.
· Set and carry out policies, processes and procedures for the departments.
· Develop departmental goals and objectives.
· Ensure that the facility is up to date on and compliant with new laws and regulations.
· Recruit, train and supervise staff and evaluate the quality of the work.
· Manage budget and the finances of the department, such as patient fees and billing.
· Provide staff management to including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.
· Create work schedules, prepare and monitor budgets and spending to ensure departments operate within allocated funds.
· Represent the department at community or clinical meetings.
· Keep and organize records of the services provided.
· Communicate with members of the facility or medical staff.
· Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
· Master's or Doctorate degree, depending on the area of specialty, from an accredited college or university and acceptable for licensure within the state in which the facility provides services required.
· Four or more years’ experience in clinical/therapy health field required.
· One or more years’ supervisory experience required.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
· Current active professional license or eligible for endorsement by the state in which the facility provides services preferred
· CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
· First aid may be required based on state or facility

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
