Insurance Customer Service Representative
Position Description: The customer service representative for the Insurance branch of Tower Community Bank will assist the insurance agency and client managers in serving a book of business for the location including insurance renewals and new business. The customer service representative will engage in regular and ongoing training and develop relationships with customers in order to develop the insurance agency and new business.

Hours required: 40
The main duties of the Insurance Customer Service Representative
are:
· Set up new clients and prospective clients in Account Management System (QQAnalyst)
· Take client payments and apply payments to the appropriate insurance carrier
· Complete daily bank deposits
· Complete applications, rate and quote risks for new and renewal business as directed by Account Manager
· Contact clients on late payment list regarding past due accounts and keep up to date
· Respond to client inquiries, incoming email, mail and company requests in accordance with agency guidelines
· Begin proposals for review and completion by account manager or Producer and follow through on any notebooks, folders or additional information for delivery to prospective client
· Process and create invoices as needed for any changes, endorsements, and cancellations
· Generate certificates of insurance and auto ID cards
· Maintain and update any and all location, property, vehicle and equipment spreadsheets used by Account Manager
· Perform follow-ups on open activities for any items not received
· Pre-check policies and endorsements and set up notebooks for policy delivery
· Participate in continuing education for insurance license to maintain and update skills regularly. Keep up with industry trends by reading appropriate material and company bulletins.
· Participate in any special projects at management’s request.
Qualifications & Education:
· Ability and commitment to obtain State Insurance License (TN or AL) for property and casualty insurance lines of coverage within first 3 months
· 1 – 2 years of experience in commercial or personal lines of insurance coverage (e.g. auto, home, life, etc.)
· Experience and expertise in operating within an electronic environment; excellent automation skills; ability to utilize Outlook, Word, Excel and more
· Commitment to continual job-related learning and professional development, including knowledge of insurance industry and coverages
· Excellent time management, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
· High degree of self-motivation, initiative seeking personality and strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and work flow
· Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
· Ability to be attentive to detail, versatile, and flexible with a willingness to work within a fast-paced customer environment

Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour
