About us
Tower Equipment Corp is a business located in Princeton, Rock Falls, Kewanee, Geneseo and Galesburg IL. We primarily rent construction equipment like skid loaders and excavators but we also have aerial lifts, lawn and garden equipment, etc. We are dealers for Stihl and Husqvarna.
We are looking for a Secretary to join our team and provide administrative support to our staff. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a customer service-oriented attitude. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing office supplies, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and providing general administrative support. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision. It would be ideal if you had general knowledge of rental equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and take messages.
- Greet visitors and assist them with any questions.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
- Organize and maintain files and records.
- Prepare documents and reports.
- Enter invoices and payment into Quickbooks.
- Manage office supplies and equipment.
- Have a basic understanding of equipment but we are willing to teach it.
- Be able to maintain spreadsheets for inventory
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
