What to expect on this unit-
5 W: This Med /Surg specialty unit has 19 beds. The unit treats patients in the ages of infancy, to those yet to transition to adult care. Patients treated include those with Cardiology diagnosis, and Oncology overflow. The acuity mix for this unit is higher than the typical acuity for most Med/Surg units. All RN's on the unit are Chemo certified within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
The Nursing Assistant provides supportive patient care as a member of the care team under the direction of the RN according to the policies and procedures in the Department of Nursing.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Prior work experience suitable for the position is preferred.
- BLS CPR (American Heart Association) required
- Current Nursing Assistant registry or a nursing student who has completed one clinical rotation.
