TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST - WINDHAM IT DEPARTMENT

The Town of Windham seeks qualified applicants for the position of Technical Support
Specialist. This is a full-time position (40 hrs/wk @ $28.00/hr). Under the direction of the IT
Director, the Technical Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring proper computer operations so that end-users can accomplish organizational tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end-user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostics and help request tracking tools, including providing hands-on assistance at the desktop level. An Associate's Degree from a recognized college or university in Computer Science, Information
Systems, or a related field; plus two (2) years of progressively responsible experience working on a Helpdesk, in Information Technology, or a similar technical function; or in lieu thereof, an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Cloud Platforms, required.
Bilingual (English and Spanish), preferred.
