What We’re Looking For
Toyota is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst that will participate in strategic outsourcing initiatives and synergy activities with other Toyota owned companies. Several initiatives the candidate will be tasked with will include vendor consolidation, strengthening supply base, cost analysis and key CR activities. We are seeking an individual that has a strong work ethic, is reliable and consider themselves a go-getter. This person should enjoy working both in an office setting and in the plant. We need someone with a desire to learn new skills, be part of a team, and advance within a growing company
- Bachelor’s Degree (or working towards degree) in related field
- Experience in a procurement/supply chain role preferred
- Proficient Computer skills - using Microsoft Office
- Contract and negotiation skills
- Ability to think critically and analyze complex problems
- Ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screen
- Authorized to work in the United States
What You’ll Be Doing
- Participate in daily leadership meetings
- Work with Supply Chain Manager on strategic initiative
- Partake in conference calls and meetings with suppliers
- Generate purchase orders and forecasts for most critical commodities and suppliers
- Implement and manage methods to visualize & track key supplier metrics for scoring purposes
- Create competitive advantage through material and process cost analysis, effective negotiations, and contract management
- Plan and execute supply chain optimization projects, commodity strategy and synergy activity
- Establish close working relationships with other business functions such as supplier quality, engineering and operations
- Initiate new outsourcing initiatives imperative to refining company core compete
- nciesManage supplier relationships and help execute continuous improvement of supply chain policies
