AR Manager

Job Purpose:
The Accounts Receivable Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health and stability of the company by overseeing the management of sales receivables. This individual will be responsible for ensuring timely invoicing, efficient collection processes, and proactive risk management to optimize cash flow and minimize financial risk.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective collection policies to mitigate financial risk and minimize bad debt exposure.
- Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment collections, and credit management.
- Monitor customer accounts receivable aging and take appropriate actions to address overdue accounts.
- Collaborate with sales, operations and customers to address customer inquiries, disputes, and payment issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze receivables data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize collections and cash flow.
- Work with the Director of Receivables develop to implement collections guidelines conducive to our short and long terms goals
- Prepare regular reports and analysis on accounts receivable performance for management review.
- Build a culture of accountability and process improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. (Preferred)
- A minimum of 5 years in accounts receivable management or related role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work.
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- to thrive in a collaborative team environment while also being self-motivated and able to work independently.

Environmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements:
Typical 9-hour day to include reaching, standing, walking, kneeling, lifting and carrying. To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required. Employee also share the responsibility to perform routine housekeeping activities such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning and changing trash can liners.
