Responsibilities
- Operate slitting machines to cut materials according to specifications.
- Set up and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
- Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
- Perform routine maintenance on slitting equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for accurate production.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating a press brake machine and milling machine.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Experience in fabricating components using hand tools.
- Strong ability in blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience operating forklifts safely within the manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of tooling requirements for various production tasks.
