Description
The Senior Benefits Analyst will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing and administering employee benefit programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. This role involves working closely with HR, finance, and external vendors to manage benefit plans effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of employee benefits, and excellent communication abilities. The Benefits Analyst reports to the Human Resources Manager, and assists and advises company managers about Benefits topics/issues.
Responsible for human resources activities to include workers’ compensation, benefits, and leave administration.
Responsible for conducting comprehensive analysis of existing employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other fringe benefits.
Responsible for evaluating benefit plan design, cost-effectiveness, and competitiveness in the market to recommend enhancements or changes.
Serve as point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, assisting with issue resolution and providing and providing guidance on plan details.
Conduct regular audits and analyses of benefit plans to ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance with legal requirements.
Assist with the development and implementation of new benefit initiatives, such as wellness programs, employee assistance programs, or flexible work arrangements.
Responsible for responding within the allotted time to all OESC, OCSS, DHS, claims/inquires and other written requests by outside agencies.
Evaluates reports, decision, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures and documentation.
Facilitator of company initiatives and policy changes to the employee population.
Responsible for reporting an overseeing all locations work-related accidents and injuries; serve as liaison between employees and insurance carriers.
Responsible for administration and management of various employee benefit programs, such as group life insurance, medical, dental, vision LTD and STD, and 401k for all locations.
Maintain benefits process/workflow to be ACA compliant for all locations.
Maintain human resources databases, computer software system and filing systems.
Maintain professional relationship with Paycom Services; involvement in frequent webinars.
Assisting new applicants and new hires with benefits process.
Responsible for monthly benefits billing actives for all benefits related activities for all locations. Includes processing, auditing and reconciliation with payroll and vendors.
Responsible for reconciliation and auditing of new employee enrollments and open enrollment, for timely and accurate submission to payroll and to external partners and vendors.
Responsible for distribution of written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits and personnel policies for all locations.
Mediate between benefits vendors and employees by assisting in employee benefit related questions or suggestions.
Responsible for notifying benefits carriers of monthly discrepancies and/or errors on billing statements.
Responsible for open enrollment meeting, or trainings of managers in benefit areas.
Responsible for Annual OSHA reporting for all locations.
Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
Responsible for FMLA and Leaves of Absence requests; maintain files.
Employee’s services and counseling when necessary.
Employee or outlet investigations when necessary.
Develop and maintain positive relationship with managers and employees.
Develop and maintain relationship with Gaming and Nation.
Other duties as assigned.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform specific research/investigation into operational issues, as requested
Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork
Assist with development of company policies and procedures.
Assist the COO, VP of HR and Human Resources Manager with special projects as needed.
Uniforms and/or clothing should always be business professional.
Create and support an environment of “teamwork” by helping a fellow employee or guest, without a second thought.

Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CEBS, PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
Proven experience in benefits administration, analysis, or consulting role, preferably in a corporate setting.
Strong understanding of employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, perform cost-benefit analyses, and make strategic recommendations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex benefit concepts to employees at all levels.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to employee benefits, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and other relevant laws and regulations.
Expert computer skills, ability to compose and create reports, letters, memos, and procedures
Mature judgment and professionalism in handling all matters
Required knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as managing files and records and other office processes, procedures, and terminology
Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
Excellent math skills
