As the Final Mile Specialist, you will be stepping into a company that is constantly growing. We are looking to hire an individual who can bring this new service offering to the team while thriving in a fast-paced and highly competitive environment. This position will require customer service experience and the ability to work well under-pressure while multi-tasking. Additionally, you will be called upon to work collaboratively with a team of professionals to provide superb verbal/written communication skills. We are looking for the next rockstar with a great attitude, someone who is flexible with an out-going personality and a hard worker is paramount to the success of the Final Mile Specialist.
FINAL MILE SPECIALIST
What the Job Entails:
- Manage daily execution of final mile shipments from assigned customer base.
- Provide outside-the-box solutions on white glove deliveries.
- Grow final mile-enabled carrier network within Carrier Sales department.
- Educate customer counterparts on final mile service offerings to better position account growth.
- Resolve problems concerning flow, carrier, fleet, and customer issues associated with delivery and logistics flow.
- Manage daily on-time performance including departure and delivery within booked shipments.
- Coordinate daily and weekly carrier performance reviews once department has grown
