We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing expert financial advice.
Job Description
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct thorough tax planning and prepare tax returns for TraffiCorp and its sister businesses.
- Perform audits of financial statements and assess the financial operations of the company.
- Provide financial forecasting and risk analysis.
- Advise management on financial planning, budgeting, and decision making.
- Maintain current knowledge of changing tax laws and accounting standards.
- Develop and maintain internal control procedures to ensure financial integrity.
- Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary information for the annual audit.
- Conduct Certified Payrolls
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- A minimum of 2 years experience in accounting or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, GAAP, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Quickbooks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
