What are the responsibilities and job description for the TKY 17 Maintenance ($19.63-$21.25) 1st Shift position at Trail King Industries Inc?
Objective of Position: Maintain equipment and parts inventory, preventative maintenance plans, and work order records in the computerized maintenance management system. Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on plant equipment as needed.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate equipment inventory and records. Ensure preventative maintenance plans are current, accurate and in place for all equipment types.
- Maintain records of work order history and parts usage to provide reports as necessary.
- Control spare part and maintenance item inventory levels to ensure timely repairs.
- Assist in developing equipment replacement plans.
- May perform minor maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities as needed.
- Assist maintenance personnel with major maintenance projects as directed.
- Driving for parts, servicing fleet vehicles, etc. as required.
- Assume additional responsibilities as needed.
Position Qualifications:
- Must have experience Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must have background showing an understanding of equipment maintenance
- Must have experience in understanding technical publications
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

- Must have ability to work from heights up to 25 ft.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust, fumes and is near moving machinery.
- Upon initial assignment to an area where hazardous waste will be handled, training of management of hazardous waste must be conducted within six months of start date
- Annual training is required for management of hazardous waste including a review of the company contingency plan
