What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Specialist position at TrainACE?
We are looking for a motivated, dynamic social media and marketing assistant to join our team. Working closely with our marketing director, you will promote our services and grow our audience through social media. You will also have the opportunity to gain experience writing content for our website and learn other aspects of marketing as time allows.
This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Digital Media. You will be actively contributing to marketing campaigns and gaining valuable marketing experience, including working with HubSpot CRM.
This is a paid, part-time role working 3 days a week, at our Greenbelt, MD offices, with a flexible schedule (approximately 24 hours a week).
Job description:
- Work with the Marketing Director to develop a social media strategy
- Assist in the growth of our brand by raising awareness through various social media platforms
- Assist in implementing plans to increase followers on popular social media websites such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Interact with followers and potential customers by communicating and answering questions through the company's social pages, and our HubSpot CRM tools
- Monitor postings to ensure brand message is constant from the terminology used to images posted
- You will help us reach our target audience by delivering both useful and appealing online information about our company and products specifically through social media.
- Provide weekly reports of progress
- Help write content for the blog and website
- Help with creating video content
Skills Qualifications:
- Candidates must be independent, organized and detail-oriented
- Must be fluent in English and have strong written communication skills
- A strong interest in IT and Cybersecurity is preferred
- Experienced with LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and other social media platforms
- Have a working knowledge of design and photo editing applications
Other Useful skills:
- Experience using social media to generate leads
- Ability to write blog & website content
- Skills using video editing and tools
- Experience using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Working experience in the IT industry
- Familiarity with CRM’s, particularly HubSpot
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
