What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Lube Technician position at TRANCASA?
Summary:
Trancasa USA, INC. We are looking for a Lube Technician that controls inventory of truck and lubricating any parts as needed, with the aim of efficient maintenance of these, as well as is a point of contact for operators on the road with any lube-related incidents.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Apply lubricants to the moving parts of the suspension of the Trailer to avoid premature wear and guarantee optimal performance of the components.
· Lubrication of wheel bearings to prevent excessive tire wear.
· Perform air filter cleaning to prevent flow obstruction.
· Check oil, antifreeze, and windshield washer fluid levels and add as needed.
· Test tire pressure and add air as needed.
· Thoroughly inspect tractors for oil and antifreeze leaks.
· Check the condition of belts and pulleys.
· Carry out an inspection format per unit
· Make recommendations for additional services based on inspections performed on trailers.
· Notify service advisor when tractor maintenance or service cannot be completed within scheduled time frames.
· Maintain a clean and safe work area.
· Work 8 hour shifts with availability to extend hours
