Job Description / Posting Human Resources Coordinator
Position Description
The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes within the Plant
This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Essential Job Functions
Supporting administrative needs of the HR Leader and Staff as required.
Assists with recruitment, interview process and background process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
Assist with onboarding of all new hires.
Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by HRBP and Plant Manager
Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
Prepares new employee files.
Administering the access control badge program including entering badge numbers into time and attendance, production data collection and security systems.
Coordinating uniform shirt program and Cintas Uniforms
Conducts audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
Assists with the preparation of the performance review process
Answering employee requests and questions.
Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; performs other clerical functions.
Files documents in employees’ electronic employee file.
Assists with processing of terminations.
Assists and prepares correspondence as requested.
Processes and distributes incoming / outcoming mail.
Making necessary arrangements for overnight and express mail as required.
Maintain monthly employee birthday list.
Coordinating meals, activities, social, recreational, and community activities.
Performing various administrative duties (i.e., data entry, filing, word processing, etc.)
Performing general receptionist duties (greet visitors, etc.)
Performing other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and / or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years related experience required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizations skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain a good working relationship with both internal and external customers.
Dependability and confidentiality a must.
Physical Requirements
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal company and external associates, both written and orally, including the telephone.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
