What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Plow Operator position at TransBlue FM?
Position Overview:
Local company seeking Snow Equipment Operators to perform all aspects of snow removal during the winter season servicing our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Removing snow using a snowplow and heavy equipment for several hours at a time, depending on the amount of snowfall
- Being available each time it snows and report either to a central location or directly to the jobsite
- Removing snow in appropriate designated locations
- Reporting any concerns or incidents to appropriate party
- Completing the proper service reports using assigned mobile app or software
- Being aware of safety issues or concerns, and report them to the appropriate party
- Performing other tasks as assigned by company
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License with clean record and the ability to drive to a variety of work locations in assigned area
- Reliable transportation to and from any work site
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment preferred
- Able to work overnight during the winter months
- Dependable
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Able to safely operate equipment
