IT Support Specialist
The IT Support Specialist position will be responsible for supporting all departments needs for software, systems, hardware, and technology. Transfast Trucking and Transfast Logistics is adding new people, systems, and processes to support our rapid growth. This position is essential to this growth to provide on-site support and solutions that help ensure our success.
To be considered, candidates should have a 4 Year degree in Informational Technology and/or 5 or more years of experience. Experience in the Transportation/Logistics industry is also preferred.
Essential Functions
- Ability to procure, install, and monitor all hardware including computers, phones, printers, and other devices.
- Install, Support, and trouble shoot all software applications
- Configure and install all networking hardware
- Develop continuous improvements to our business by proposing and installing new and better solutions
- Propose cost savings efforts while providing the best in-class technology that allows us to be competitive
Requirements
- Outgoing and professional with excellent communication skills
- Excellent with collaborating projects with various departments
- Bachelor’s degree in Informational Technology and/or 5 years’ IT experience in a Transportation or Logistics setting
- Self-motivated, driven, organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, prioritize and excel in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic: a desire to work in a fast pace environment
