Focus on managing a single key account central to North Carolina while also covering locations up and down the East Coast. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales acumen, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, travel-intensive environment.
The major duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within the designated key account and associated locations along the East Coast.
Fleet Sales and Needs Analysis: Identify opportunities for fleet sales within the account and conduct thorough needs analysis to understand customer requirements and preferences. Develop customized solutions to meet their needs effectively.
Travel: Travel extensively during the week to visit various locations along the East Coast, engaging with clients, conducting sales meetings, and providing support as needed. Return home on weekends to maintain work-life balance.
Consignment Inventory Management: Oversee the management and counting of consignment inventory at customer sites, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment as per contractual agreements.
Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the fleet sales team and management to develop effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue targets and exceed customer expectations.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and market insights for management review.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive overall customer experience.
Proven track record of success in sales, account management, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Experience in fleet sales and needs analysis is highly desirable.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, travel-intensive work environment.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
