Your Role
Office Services Assistant
Shift and Hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm, some OT may be required
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

As our Office Services Assistant, you’ll be the smiling face that greets guests at our new site in Trumbull, CT. As someone who supports the office’s overall direction as we ramp up the site, you’re also someone who is comfortable with ambiguity. Over the short term of four to six months or so, you also don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to assist with inventory, dispatch and customer service and as we continue hiring individuals to support us in these related roles, you’re happy to transition those tasks away
What You’ll Be Doing
Essential Functions
Helps to sets clear goals and maintain respectful accountability
Makes independent decisions about work priorities and procedures
Orders Office supplies
Sets up site surveys and schedules client visits
Create, implement processes and procedures
Performing computerized data entry into Excel spread sheets or other computer systems.
Provide support and collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, Corporate Office, and customers as needed
Collaborates with others in a team environment
Short Term Functions
Assists with customer service, dispatch and inventory needs
Provides customer support in all levels and provides situation resolution
Prepare quotes, worksheets, reports as needed or requested (i.e. Unbillable, order log data base, Manage file / paperwork flow, accounting and customer services reports, Customized inventory reports, Storage quotes)
Assists with inventory related to tracking, cycle counts and movement of materials
Assists with dispatch to help with managing fleet list, help assign routes, track, open and close jobs on dashboard and communicate with respective parties
Marginal Functions
Attend meetings and trainings
Maintain and update files and records and prepare reports
May manage multiple special continuous improvement projects as needed
Role models safe team member practices and efficient department standards
Role model of TransPak culture and operating procedures
Assists with office and equipment maintenance

Required
Minimum one year of experience in the individual contributor role
Strong leadership, teamwork and communication skills to build a high performing team
Demonstrated attention to detail, deadline-driven, continuous improvement behaviors
Preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish
