What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years' experience working extensively in the financial services industry selling data and solutions to this industry
- Leadership skills to manage a team to deliver against goals for sales activity, pipeline development and revenue targets
- An ability to execute to strategic goals within defined milestones. Collaboration with sales leadership on key sales issues that may influence strategic goals or outcomes
- Proven ability to build relationships based on deep knowledge of large and complex businesses
- Bachelor's degree in business related field and/or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel 50-60%
We'd Love to See:
- An ability to identify, define and develop solutions to issues and problems with a work group that are not immediately evident. May require analysis of a variety of factors including an understanding of personal effectiveness, interaction dynamics and business trends.
- Demonstrated executive level selling skills including full utilization of solution selling, lead generation, prospecting, value positioning, proposal creativity and strong closing skills.
- Ability to execute to strategic goals within defined milestones. Collaboration with sales leadership on key sales issues that may influence strategic goals or outcomes
- East Coast location
Impact You'll Make:
- Responsible for the management of a geographic sales team and their sales efforts. Has profit and loss responsibility and is measured against a revenue plan with responsibility for the aggregate revenue generated by your sales team.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its market presence
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management
