Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Non-Emergency Medical First Responders in the Philadelphia, Burlington, and Camden County areas. As a Non-Emergency Medical First Responder, you will provide safe and comfortable transportation and assistance to individuals who require non-emergency medical care or support. This role is vital in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients during medical transportation.
Responsibilities:
Respond to scheduled non-emergency medical transportation requests.
Safely assist clients with boarding and exiting vehicles, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the transportation process.
Provide basic medical assistance and support as needed, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with mobility aids.
Maintain a clean and well-equipped vehicle, ensuring it is stocked with necessary medical supplies and equipment.
Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and medical personnel to ensure smooth coordination of transportation services.
Follow established protocols and procedures for transporting clients to medical appointments, rehabilitation sessions, and other destinations.
Document all services provided and any pertinent client information accurately and thoroughly.
Adhere to all legal and ethical standards related to patient confidentiality, privacy, and professional conduct.
Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Medical First Responder, , or equivalent from an accredited program.
Current certification in CPR and basic life support (BLS).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care and support to clients.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a variety of situations.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift and maneuver mobility aids and assist clients with mobility as needed.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
Knowledge of local geography and familiarity with the Philadelphia, Burlington, and Camden County areas is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
