Job Summary
This role assists the People & Culture (Human Resources) department with various administrative and compliance-related tasks and regularly communicates with management, team members, and external parties. Responsible for personnel file maintenance and storage.
Duties and Responsibilities
Complete administrative duties for the People & Culture department.
Respond to internal and external employment-related inquiries and requests.
Create, categorize, organize, move, and box team member personnel files.
Responsible for maintaining an organized system of tracking and storing personnel files in the office as well as files located at an offsite storage facility.
Open, sort, deliver, and package mail.
Order and maintain department office supplies.
Perform HRIS data entry, occasionally.
Review employment information inputted by field management for compliance and accuracy.
Prepare state separation notices.
Respond to requests for employment verifications.
Research and respond to requests for documents in applicant or personnel files.
Respond to phone messages on People & Culture hotline in a timely and courteous manner.
