TRC is looking for an experienced marketing professional to join us as a Marketing Manager supporting our Digital Solutions business. This position will be responsible for contributing to business objectives through the development and deployment of innovative and effective marketing campaigns. This is a remote role, reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, who will function as the partner to the executive leadership of our Digital Solutions Business, with a primary market target of technology and systems integrations programs for power utilities. The ideal candidate has experience in marketing to the electric utilities industry and is a data-driven, strategic marketer.
This role is responsible for developing, implementing, measuring and continuously improving marketing plans in support of business line objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, own and execute the marketing strategy for the Digital Solutions business, leveraging insight from across the organization and external research, to anticipate market trends and identify/act on opportunities for profitable growth.
- Partner with the business, sales and the broader marketing & communications team to deploy this strategy through multiple channels.
- Create messaging and draft communications materials, including but not limited to internal articles, success stories, case studies, presentations, scripts, market collateral, etc.
- Create digital marketing campaigns that factor in paid search, paid social, webpage SEO and target email marketing, considering multiple customer journeys.
- Define key targets and quality metrics for marketing initiatives and review, evaluate and present results upon completion of the activities.
- At least 5 years' experience in marketing communications, marketing campaign management and/or digital marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
- Knowledge of the electric utilities industry through previous roles.
- Strong strategic, data-driven campaign manager mindset with a deep understanding of various marketing communications disciplines and work streams.
- Ability to lead, plan, craft, implement, prioritize and evaluate projects as part of an overarching campaign strategy.
- Excellent writing, presentation and collaboration skills.
- Basic Salesforce or CRM and Pardot/HubSpot experience
- Experience with SEO, paid search/AdWords, paid social and Google Analytics.
