Job Description
The Sales Representative (SR) at Treace Medical Concepts reports to the District Sales Manager (DSM) or Regional Vice President with a primary responsibility of achieving quota for a designated area on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The SR will be a subject matter expert for Treace Medical products and procedures, instilling confidence in the surgeon and operating room (OR) support team by their deep understanding of, and proper use of, our products in a variety of patient and clinical scenarios.
What you will be responsible for:
- Develop new customers via prospecting and following up on company generated leads.
- Plan, coordinate and executes product training for surgeons (didactic and cadaveric). Ensures proper selection and qualification of all trainees.
- Attend surgery with new surgeon users; provide technical guidance on proper clinical use and technique for best possible outcome and an excellent customer experience. Completes case review summaries after every case.
- Work to obtain product approvals of local and regional ASCs, hospitals and IDNs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all key account personnel within their assigned areas in order to support selling, market development, service efforts, clinical events and business continuity.
- Provides feedback to marketing on product design to improve performance and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
- Education and Experience: High school diploma (or equivalent) required and four (4) years of successful field sales experience. Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree required and minimum of two (2) years successful field sales experience.
- Ability to travel locally up to 90% of the time and overnight travel up to 20% of the time.
- Must be willing and able to complete and maintain hospital credentialing requirements (Reptrax, other).
