Poker Dealer
Description:
SUMMARY: To deal the games of Poker in accordance with Treasure Island policies and procedures. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Efficiently deal the game of Poker by demonstrating excellent math skills to properly take expected amounts from each pot or hand
- Deal Poker games in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Provide continuous quality entertainment and service to guests
- Serve as the first line of defense in the protection of the integrity of the games and table inventory
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Proven proficiency in math
- Minimum of 80 hours in-house Poker training for new dealers, which includes ability to pass written policy tests as well as in-house auditions.
- Minimum of 8 hours of in-house Poker training for previous experienced dealers, which includes ability to pass written tests as well as in-house auditions.
Preferred:
- Prior dealing experience in the gaming industry
