The Business Development/ Outreach Associate is responsible for fostering relationships with qualified referral partners within their designated territory to facilitate admissions into any of TreatmentX’s facilities.
Qualifications: • Must possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels, including executive leadership, clients, and external organizations. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent proven experience in addiction treatment marketing. • Excellent organizational abilities. • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. • Willingness to travel across a multi-state region. • Proficient with technology. • Ability to prepare detailed reports summarizing weekly visits. • Comfortable with extended periods of desk work. • Valid driver’s license required. • Strong ability to draft routine reports and general correspondence. • Confident in speaking to groups of customers or employees. • Able to interpret and execute instructions delivered in written, verbal, or diagram formats. • Able to address and solve problems that involve multiple factors in standardized situations. • Frequent travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develops, nurtures, and maintains relationships with key referral sources to support admissions efforts. • Creates a structured schedule that balances maintaining current referral partnerships and developing new business opportunities. • Handles all client communications and CRM updates remotely through company-provided mobile devices, with flexibility for after-hours communication, including weekends. • Some overnight travel will be necessary. • Manages the admissions process, effectively converting general inquiries into admissions. • Performance is evaluated monthly based on companywide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). • Maintains a working knowledge of treatment approaches, levels of care, and best practices in the field of substance use and co-occurring disorders. • Demonstrates the ability to multitask, work independently, and troubleshoot diverse scenarios. • Delivers high-quality presentations to agencies, hospital staff, discharge planners, and other relevant groups. • Builds and sustains effective working relationships across departments. • Adheres to professional attire expectations and submits monthly expenses • Maintains clear communication with key team members regarding potential admissions and clients in progress. • Assists the clinical team with discharge planning, identifying, and contacting suitable facilities for continuity of care as needed. |
