IA - Forklift Operator

Role Overview:

To remain a recognized leader, we are seeking a Forklift Operator that is a motivated self-starter, dependable and team-oriented to provide the best customer experience. We are looking for someone who has strong communication skills, attention to detail and time management. This position will provide support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping and receiving warehouse products. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure optimal operation of the business. Forklift Operators/Material Handlers will be trained in several different departments and will be asked to assist where needed.

Hours (1st Shift): 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday with OT work as needed.

Role Responsibilities:

• Operating a 5000 lb. forklift
• Must be comfortable handling over-sized material that does not have a low center of balance
• Perform cycle counts/inventories as needed
• Pick wrap and stage orders to be shipped
• Supply production lines with materials
• Move product for shipping & receiving, loading and unloading materials

Tire racks are 81.5” W x 56” D x 81” H- these are transported double stacked and can weight up to 2000 lbs. per rack

Wheel pallets are 8’ W x 3’ D x 8’ H – these are transported single stacked and can weight up to 4000 lbs. per pallet

What Tredit is Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• 1-3 years of Forklift experience required.
• Must be able to read work orders and understand customer numbers/order numbers/special instructions, etc.
• Ability to learn and retain Tredit alias part numbers and be able to identify product correctly.
• Must possess a willingness to learn and ask questions when needed.
• Demonstrates problem solving and decision-making skills
• Able to concentrate, stay focused and be a cooperative team player.
• Must be accurate and pay attention to detail.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Strong understanding and commitment to adhering to all Company and OSHA Safety Standards

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
