Salary Range: $18.67-$22.38 Depending on qualifications.
$1500 sign-on bonus - $500 after 30 days worked; Another $500 after 90 days worked; Remaining $500 after 6 months from date of hire.

SUMMARY:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Operates and monitors multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously to conform to maintenance and quality standards.
- Identifies problems and initiates adjustments for efficient and optimal operation.
- Verifies connection of feed/discharge hoses and levels of feed/discharge tanks for proper product flow.
- Cleans and sanitizes equipment and associated piping and tanks.
- Conducts product quality checks in process and adjusting settings as needed.
- Documents all operating parameters and current set points. Calculates and records product flow data completely, concisely, accurately and legibly.
- Informs supervisor on a timely basis of all operational problems encountered and what action was taken to resolve the problems with recommendations to prevent reoccurrences.
- Communicates and coordinates with other process equipment operators to ensure efficient product flow.
- Responsible for addressing potential food safety and quality issues of product.
- Coordinates oneself in a professional manner, working safely, taking precautions in preventing product and/or equipment damages and losses, cooperating with co-workers and maintaining good housekeeping practices at all times.
- Ability to communicate in English; write routine correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Requires the use of judgment to plan, perform and make decisions.
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and climb or balance. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The employee frequently works around moving mechanical parts; exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat; occasionally exposed to vibration, toxic or caustic chemicals, and fumes or airborne particles; noise level is usually loud.
