Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, managing a team of kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food production. You will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and create delicious dishes for our guests. Responsibilities: - Plan and execute menus in accordance with dietary requirements and guest preferences - Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and proper use of equipment - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen - Manage inventory control to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency - Collaborate with other departments, such as banquet and dietary, to meet guest needs - Monitor food production to maintain consistent quality and presentation - Create new recipes and update existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting - Oversee the scheduling of kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment Requirements: - Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment - Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a culinary field - Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team - Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and flavor combinations - Experience in banquet or large-scale event catering is preferred - Proficient in inventory control and cost management - Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills If you are passionate about creating exceptional culinary experiences, have strong leadership abilities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
