Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and specifications.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
- Monitor food quality and safety standards, including proper food storage, labeling, and rotation.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a line cook in a high-volume environment.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Strong knowledge of culinary fundamentals and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
