Roofing Advisor

• Generate new accounts through marketing, seminars and cold calling. 
• Audits to existing accounts: perform inspections (condition assessments) and report on results through online reporting program
• Write specification, send to contractors, contractors bid to customer (responsibility  depends on experience level
• Once project is confirmed, RA trains* contractors on product application, (if using a new product or if it’s a big project, training may be done by Field Technicians), verify contractor on schedule, ensuring application of product is correct, report on progress to either the Sales Rep or the customer 2-5 days per week (depends on experience of contractor).
• Liaise with Patch and Repair contractors to make sure job is done to specification.
• Contractor relations – review Tremco’s expectations regarding reporting and review customer preferences (for example, what form of application works best for the customer’s needs, specific customer procedures, safety requirements)
• Customer communication, presence with customer
• Follow safe work procedures and practices
• Recognize and report hazards
• Attend health and safety meetings
• Participate in training, audits and inspections
• Comply with legal duties and Tremco safety policies and procedures
• All employees are liable under the Criminal Code of Canada as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act to take every reasonable precaution in the circumstances for the protection of workers
• Performs multiple activities which require interaction with coworkers in other departments or divisions and requires awareness of related activities
• Perform standard and routine assignments independently, working within standard practices and procedures with general work instructions and supervision 

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education Required: Associate's degree or diploma from college or technical school

Minimum experience Required: 0 - 2 years

Interaction with others is primarily required to influence people through applying technical knowledge or rational arguments aimed at causing action   

Problem Solving: Situations are similar, requiring solution by making a choice between known alternatives
