Tremco CPG Inc., a world leader in solving complex roofing and waterproofing problems for commercial, institutional, healthcare and corporate accounts since 1928, currently has a new opportunity for an Engineering Intern to join our Roofing Division at our Cleveland, Ohio Roofing Plant. The right candidate will work with our experienced Engineering Team to identify, develop, and implement efficiency, conservation, and renewable resource solutions that deliver High Performing Sustainable Buildings to our well-established client base in the following markets: Education, Government, Healthcare and Commercial.
Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:
Assist our Engineering Team in analyzing key project site energy performance information, including utility data and facility infrastructure drawings.
Assist our Engineering Team to prepare energy savings calculations.
Assist our Engineering Team in conducting comprehensive energy audits.
Assist our Engineering Team in performing energy and water consumption measurements, usage analysis, and energy modeling
Use Energy Star’s Portfolio Manager to benchmark the facility.
Assist our Engineering Team in verifying data and in order to prepare High Performance Building Solution summary reports
Provide assistance with preparation of detailed specifications, cost savings analysis, and scopes of work for energy efficiency and conservation improvements
Other duties, as assigned
Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
Currently enrolled in either a Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering discipline at a 4-year accredited Engineering University.
Must have completed at least 2 years in an Engineering discipline.
Basic knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, building envelope and/or control systems.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic engineering principles.
MS Office proficiency, including advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.
Strong organizational, verbal, written, technical communication and presentation skills.
Valid Drivers License in good standing, issued by resident state required.
U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
Located in Cleveland, Ohio.
