Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency room setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on their condition and severity of illness or injury
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians
- Perform procedures such as spinal taps, airway management, and ostomy care
- Assist with discharge planning and patient education
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize health coaching techniques to promote patient self-care and wellness
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of [X] years of experience working in an emergency room setting
- Experience in pediatric emergency care is preferred
- Proficient in performing procedures such as spinal taps, airway management, and ostomy care
- Knowledge of coding and documentation requirements for accurate billing and reimbursement
