We are currently seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager to help us maintain and grow for the future. The Sales Person role is built on relationship, self-motivated and driven by a desire to exceed expectations. You will be calling on various personnel within a company, from the CEO, engineers, purchasing agents including the maintenance men on the shop floor. Build & develop an established territory and with an existing customer base. You will grow your territory (and your earnings!) by bringing in new business and developing repeat business relationships within your existing accounts.
Product knowledge preferred : MRO Industrial Supplies and Pipe, Valves and Fittings
Responsibilities
Achieve sales and profit goals by developing and retaining existing customers and by opening new business
Manage all customer programs such as Consignment & Vendor managed inventories
Conduct sales and service activities, identify product applications, and introduce new products and services, product demonstrations
Prepare quotations and proposals, follow up, negotiate terms, and close transactions. Organize and conduct training sessions for customers
Survey market and competitive conditions, develop new customer base
Complete reports regarding itineraries, expenses, sales calls, leads, and other related matters
Monitor customer complaints, follow up on outstanding orders, quotes, past due invoices, update client information within our system and deliveries as required
They have strong prioritization, planning, and time-management skills, and a sense of urgency.
