About This Role:

Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC)a wholly owned subsidiary of Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking a talentedMicrosoft Azure Architect.The Azure Architect will design, implement, and maintain complex cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies. The architect will strategically work with software development teams, product owners, and system owners to deliver a cost-effective cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps solutions for federal clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cost-effective Microsoft Azure solutions, following system requirements and predefined criteria, focusing on high availability, fault tolerance, security, and cost effectiveness
  • Automate Azure infrastructure management with IAC/CAC tools (including Azure Resource Manager.)
  • Create and maintain design documentation of Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Provide 2nd level support for AWS and Azure issues with computing, network, and storage
  • compliance with government cloud security and privacy standards through documentation, design, and technical discussion
  • Design and implement Azure Active Directory/Entra ID federated identity management solutions to support development, maintenance, and testing efforts
  • Work with federal organizations to configure integration of Azure solutions with federal network and security implementations
  • Develop and implement monitoring strategies to ensure reliability and monitor cost
  • Ensure that upgrades, patches, security, and documentation on Azure environments is kept current
  • Provide Azure support off-hours for deployments of applications to environments as needed

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning and organizing skills
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Knowledge of business strategy and experience in the consulting industry, technical leadership, and/or sales support
  • Federal consulting experience a plus
  • Significant experience with the following Azure technologies:
    • Application Services and Application Service Plans
    • Application Insights
    • Azure Cache for Redis
    • Log Analytics
    • Managed Identity solutions and implementation
    • Networking technologies (virtual networks and subnets, private endpoints, NSGs, route tables)
    • Azure SQL
    • ARM templates
    • Azure virtual machines
    • Azure Active Directory/Entera ID
  • Experienced and knowledgeable about general networking technology and solutions
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Azure Architecture, including networking strategies and configuration, configuration and management, cost and performance management and monitoring
  • Experience with Agile practices and processes
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CAC)

Professional Certifications:

Azure Cloud Solutions Architecture certification (AZ-300, AZ-301, AZ-103, AZ-900)

Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Clearance:

Ability to Obtain and Maintain a Public Trust Clearance

Years of Professional Experience:


5 years technical lead experience


Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift 35 lbs.

  • No travel required
