Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with mental health & substance abuse/use conditions. This is an important position that requires strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Duties:

- Conduct psychotherapy sessions with patients under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals

- Assist in providing chronic pain counseling and therapy to patients

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients

- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation of patient interactions and progress

- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess the mental health needs of patients

- Collect and analyze data to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

- Utilize dance therapy techniques as part of patient treatment plans

- Assist in coding and billing for mental health services provided

Skills:

- Strong knowledge and understanding of psychotherapy techniques and interventions

- Experience in chronic pain counseling and therapy

- Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping

- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans

- Skilled in data collection, analysis, and interpretation

- Knowledge of dance therapy techniques and their application in mental health treatment

- Familiarity with coding and billing procedures for mental health services

- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient assessment and communication

Pay: $22.68 - $26.56 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week
