We are currently looking for an experienced Operating Room Nurse whom can work in a multi-specialty surgical center. Experience working in OR/Pre-Op and PACU preferred.

This candidate must have the following to be considered for the role:

• Current Licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Minimum of 1 Year Medical/Surgical Nursing experience

You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge at our multi-specialty surgery center.

Summary of Essential Job Functions of the Peri-Operative Nurse:

• Strong knowledge in Pain, ENT, Spine, Plastic, Podiatry and Ortho procedures
• Pre-Op and Pacu experience a plus, but not required
• Assesses plans, evaluates and ensures the implementation of the patient’s care to achieve identified outcomes and delivers safe patient care according to facility policy and procedure
• Assumes an active role in the provision of quality nursing care for patients receiving care
• Demonstrates continued competence in assessing, treating, and caring for individuals based upon age-specific needs utilizing a developmental perspective
• Stocking of supplies, environmental cleaning and crossover duties in the peri-operative area

Qualifications

Additional Requirements for the Operating Room RN opening:

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
• Current BCLS, ACLS and PALS Certification
• 5 years of outpatient surgery experience
• Pre-Op and Post Op experience a plus, not required

$55.00 - $65.00 per hour
