Overview

Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily petty cash reports and bank deposits
  • Conduct daily audits of petty cash, vault and cash drawers
  • Utilize booking system to perform administrative and management functions
  • Review daily sales reports and complete daily sales paperwork accurately, on time
  • Approve payroll hours weekly and within required deadline
  • Prepare/submit time adjustment forms weekly in Zenoti
  • Act as liaison between employees and Payroll Department
  • Distribute new hire paperwork and provide orientation to new employees regarding company policies, pay procedures and benefits
  • Communicate benefit and open enrollment information
  • Asst in maintaining a neat, clean salon and ensure compliance with all state licensing
  • Analysis of gratis and employee discount reports

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative or clerical experience preferred
  • Motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Team player with strong organizational and administrative skills
  • PC skills and strong math aptitude
  • Previous cash handling and payroll experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to interface with all levels of employees, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong organization skills with ability to meet consistent deadlines and handle multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high volume environment
