Overview
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily petty cash reports and bank deposits
- Conduct daily audits of petty cash, vault and cash drawers
- Utilize booking system to perform administrative and management functions
- Review daily sales reports and complete daily sales paperwork accurately, on time
- Approve payroll hours weekly and within required deadline
- Prepare/submit time adjustment forms weekly in Zenoti
- Act as liaison between employees and Payroll Department
- Distribute new hire paperwork and provide orientation to new employees regarding company policies, pay procedures and benefits
- Communicate benefit and open enrollment information
- Asst in maintaining a neat, clean salon and ensure compliance with all state licensing
- Analysis of gratis and employee discount reports
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or clerical experience preferred
- Motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Team player with strong organizational and administrative skills
- PC skills and strong math aptitude
- Previous cash handling and payroll experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interface with all levels of employees, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality
- Strong organization skills with ability to meet consistent deadlines and handle multiple priorities
- Self-motivated to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high volume environment
