The Office Manager is responsible for providing a positive and professional experience for visitors, customers, clients, and potential employees, in person or on the telephone. Provides administrative support to the General Manager, Packaging Manager, Processing Manager, and Human Resources department. Performs routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers and visitors.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.
- Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
- Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Plan, implement and supervise the company’s financial strategy
- Manage the company’s financial accounts, budget, cash receipts and financial assets
- Handle the company’s transactions and debts
- Perform the company’s financial audits
- Follow proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives
- Monitor and analyze financial accounting data
- Create financial reports based on data analysis
- Handles customer relations in-person, via email, and over the phone
- Monitor, analyze and system entry of purchase orders, pricing, terms of payment etc.
- Generates bills of lading and other shipping documents
- Communicate and direct freight carriers to loading docks
- Operate scale and verify weights for incoming and outgoing product
- Performs work that is varied and generally administrative or project-oriented.
- Performs clerical duties such as keyboarding, scheduling, and opening mail.
- Requires a broad understanding of organization operations, organizational procedures, and personnel.
- Handles confidential and sensitive material.
- Coordinates conferences, meetings, or special events.
- Greets visitors, takes messages as necessary, or transfers calls to appropriate individuals.
- Maintains electronic files and produces reports
- Composes, types, and distributes meeting notes, routine correspondence, or reports, such as presentations or expense, statistical, or monthly reports.
- Updates employee lists, such as the phone list.
- Point person for maintenance for the office and the building.
- Manages office space changes.
- Opens, reads, routes, and distributes incoming mail or other materials.
- Orders and stocks all office supplies and supplies for the lunchrooms and break areas.
WHAT WE NEED
MUST-HAVES:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in accounting/finance
- Minimum of two (2) years of general administrative experience required
- Experience with financial reporting requirements

- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
