Description:
The Dietary Cook prepares, seasons, cooks meat, fish, fowls, vegetables, soups and desserts. She/he apportions servings and performs other duties. The cook is responsible for handling and preparing food in accordance with sanitary regulations. She/he should see that the food prepared is palatable and appetizing in appearance. She/he must follow the meal schedules, avoid food waste and care for the equipment. Opening the kitchen and caf, when needed. All other job duties that are related to department needs as they arise.
